They are depressing. Nothing bad happened last night, at all, but I was still in a shitty mood all night and had to try really hard to hide it. It's just the whole ... thing, the pressure, the expectations, the hot crowded parties, the feeling of your life passing by inexorably ... ugh.

Brilliant! I stayed sober last night and drove a couple of drunk friends home at around 2 am. All I could think the entire ride home was "is this how I am when I'm drunk?! How obnoxious!!"
