Not true, the last gen benefited from coinciding with the leap from SD TV's to HDTV's. This more than anything else really helped the last gen seem like a step up from the previous one.

Same. PC for the single player or FPS experiences. Wii U for the Nintendo exclusives and the Party experiences. All bases covered. PS4 and Xbone are just not making themselves nnecessary at the moment IMO.

I cant be the only person who prefer playing this with the Wiimote and nun-chuck can I? I Tried playing with the WiiU tablet but preferred the motion controls.

Whilst Wind Waker is also my favourite Zelda game it can't be the "perfect" game for that exact reason. You can't proclaim something to be the perfect game and then in the next breath be saying there's some "filler" section everyone hates.

All the Smash bros games before the current one were made by HAL.. so not really.

Its also why Nintendo should never ever release its games on mobile. (as long as it remains a touch screen based platform)

The irony is that DS games played off a flashcart rather than a DS cart already do look as good as they did on the DS.

The Ghost House theme from Super Mario 3D land is the biggest improvement on a Mario theme for a long time. Didn't really care too much for the old ghost house themes, this is brilliant.

This guy is correct. Its like saying that the only thing stopping you from being a champion in the world of professional competitive sports is time and effort to practice and get fit. But performance enhancing drugs reduce the need for so much of this.... see where I'm going with this....

If Nintendo have any sense, they will step in and make this happen on Wii U regardless of Stretch goals.

Just remember. This isn't for you. Its for those looking for a cheaper option. And if cost is your priority and you have young Kids I think this will do just fine.

Seems a bit like a rushed integration though. I can't be arsed with faffing around with SD cards to transfer screenshots etc. In this day and age of instantaneous sharing that is far too much effort for the user to bother with.

Exactly right. Screen the screen size in this case is measured in surface area, not corner to corner. That would make no sense.

This whole situation is why non-gaming folk will never take the games industry seriously. Some very un-professional journalism directed towards a very unprofessional game developer has blown up into a very un-professional situation. This whole thing is an embarrassment to video games, from every angle you assess it.
