Have you tried running GTA IV with all those mods on? Or looked at the Steam hardware surveys? There are A LOT of people running hardware that is multiple years old.

Weapons had a limited number of stat slots, and limited ranges of what they could range, but the minimum didn't raise, and the stats and abilities on items could be ANYTHING, and since…

Does it matter if the dev-kit looks less pretty than the consumer device? As last I checked, devs shouldn't care about the aesthetics of their devkits.
