Are there any other games that do this in a similar fashion? This is probably the first time in years I’ve been remotely interested in WoW, and it’s solely because of this feature. It’d be kinda cool to have something similar in other games. If there’s a feature I think should be copied if it’s done well, it should

You’d have had a hard time convincing me that heroes use trading cards to do something awesome before I’d ever seen this article.

Overwatch is darker and less happy for every passing moment without a Jetpack Cat in it.

Fingers crossed for “Just Woke Up” Pajama Mei.

Just put it behind an age wall or something. It clearly sells, but as long as it’s separated and doesn’t clog my steam storefront like visual novels commonly did, I can’t say it would really affect anyone who isn’t seeking it out.

OH right, I forgot about the voice of Sugilite. Oof.

AHA! Now Davy gets to be the picky pedantic one! It’s Garnet and Pearl who turn into Sardonyx!

How about “Fuck you EA” and “Bring back BF2 Spec Ops,” with a side of “Don’t throw Mass Effect in the garbage and its B-team devs under the bus just because you want Anthem to come out more quickly, you pricks.”

I’ll buy expansion packs. I’ll buy dlc ranging from story to gameplay to cosmetic skins for my imaginary luxury vehicles.

One of those silhouettes was clearly a cat.

I’ve been spitting Ivalicean lore for weeks in anticipation of this. I don’t know if this is canon, if we’re somehow embarking on a journey through the Durai Papers somehow inscribed on a grimoire similar to the one used in FFTA, if Ivalice is genuinely part of the world of Hydaelyn...

I feel like whenever he shows up, I view it more as “The Paul Heyman attraction is here, with Special Guest, Brock Lesnar.”

What the fuck are you doing, Gladio? Pack your shit, get your ramen, and head back to Lucis instead of shirking on the beach.

But I want it in the US.

Personally I think it’s fascinating when a game fools me for its own sake, so long as it in no ways makes me feel limited. The way Horizon: Zero Dawn rendes just the wedge of the world within your field of view is a good example of this.

I’m sorry I ever doubted, before. It is now blatantly apparent to me that God speaks to us through videogames, and his language is morbid humor.

As with every year, I’m hoping something MegaMan-related will happen. Even if it’s a coffin and they look directly at me through a camera and politely request I send them all my memorabilia and merch, at least then... then I’d have some closure.

Still hurts to see Capcom relegating MegaMan to cameos and literally nothing else.
