Personally I think it’s fascinating when a game fools me for its own sake, so long as it in no ways makes me feel limited. The way Horizon: Zero Dawn rendes just the wedge of the world within your field of view is a good example of this.

The main game covers a few separate regions, two of which are massive beyond reasonable description in text. The two big ones are each alone easily bigger than the entirety of Skyrim.

I feel the same way, but also with Capcom or Square Enix. Something like Smite meets Dissidia would be amazing.

I don’t like that I can see the slightly transparent frame around some of the character sprites against the background. Is that reasonable, or am I being picky?
