I’d like to say I’d be the last to want someone to not bear fruits from their labors, but this is a rare case where it feels like we might actually bounce back from a horrific fucking year.

I feel you, I really do, but I’ve come to realize over my time taking part in various series and media that it’s not a particular fanbase, so much as a huge amalgam of really intense fanatics... Alphanatics, if you will, and they latch onto any goddamn thing that isn’t colored in shades of “Call of Duty Brown”.

I’m still not really worried. I never encountered issues with the first two demos, so I’m really not fussed. I’ve been a gamer for so damn long and dealt with so much industry bs over the last few years that this level of honesty and transparency is totally a breath of fresh air to me.

Even if I had the money, I don’t know if I’d buy it. I’d adore having a vehicle like this, but with its exclusivity comes the realization that herculean care must be taken to ensure it’s not damaged or vandalized. Where would you get replacement parts if something’s permanently marred?

This is exactly the reason I came back around and played XIII-2 after the horrific Final Fantasy XIII. The demo came out, the game was surprisingly really good, and I nabbed it. It was the first tentative step in restoring my faith in the franchise.

Meh, with trends being as they have been, I imagine all this DLC will be available over the PSN store at some point in the future not long after launch. That’s how it was with pretty much every other game I’ve bought, that’s how it was with Lightning Returns and/or XIII-2, and that’s how I think it’ll go with this one.
