The people that don’t like this show didn’t watch it, a lot of people hated this show because of the tired, old, stupid stereotypes it pushed about “nerd” culture. Pretty much had the same feelings about Sheldon. Someone THAT insufferable would have been punched into submission on more than a couple occasions.  

I can actually give House a pass, because as big an ass as he is, he at least contributes something to society. 

Same here. I tried (TRIED) to watch an episode but then I couldn’t figure out why the group of friends in the show didn’t murder the Sheldon fellow in his sleep and burn his heart in order to cleanse the apartment of his taint. I tried watching this years ago but just couldn’t get into it. I caught an episode that had the one with the Beatles hairdo getting yelled at by his girlfriend and because she sounds just like his mother he becomes aroused. That’s when I said, “I’m done with this.”

The fact it continually won for years speaks far more about the Awards shows then the show itself.

I’m still stunned it’s eligible in comedy categories at award shows.
