I find the writing delightful and gonzo, and I want to see where they’re going. I’m guessing I’m typical of people who like the show and people who wanted to read this article.

So what you want to do is come into a room of people who cared about something and assert that nobody cared?
Oh, some kind of deep plan that they could hand-wave. Destabilization mumble mumble. Deep cover mumble.
I think Sharon is definitely being written Skrull, but if we all keep shouting that we know it, they’ll change it so she isn’t. So shhh.
Point taken. And I do get what you’re going with here: the Doras were acting arrogantly, and the narrative excuses them in a way it does not excuse Walker. Honestly, I think it was slightly clunky writing in that moment. You’re probably right that Walker had more sanction than they did, and I think it would have been…
We pretty much know nuCap was going off the books for that one, so he doesn’t have any jurisdiction. They’re in Latvia, right? We don’t actually know that the Dora Milaje didn’t seek permission before coming in...
sparrow: flies above the dirt
I’m interested in this idea of magnetic ammo you’re floating. Do you have a Kickstarter?
Somebody must have wrecked those power converters you had to go to Tosche Station to replace...
I don’t follow any of those, but I applaud you for having what seem to be wholesome interests.
Okay, it’s possible I read it all a little too fast or too long ago, because I don’t remember a fight on the sun.
You didn’t miss much when you dropped out. It was a series that became victim of Kirkman’s desire for more and more outlandish plot twists. I followed it all the way to the end, and will admit to being delighted occasionally... but it was still a bit of a hate-read.
I’m glad to hear that it does. I guess I’ll watch it someday.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Part of that was definitely the Quitely art, but I thought it was enjoyable Millar as well. It’s been fashionable to hate him for the past ten or so (fifteen or so?) years, but this one had a decent plot, some fun reveals, and a satisfying end. I think Netflix will improve it.
I mean just use the whole album as a soundtrack and the movie writes itself...
Punisher: Franks Wild Years.
To be fair, if it’s set in the 40s, Paris is also bombed out churches, countryside, and crates of old wine. Maybe a kind old man and a saucy maid as well.
For me, that commercial is something in Wanda’s unconscious trying to warn her that a predator is snacking on her magic. Interesting that they chose a shark whose colour scheme was similar to the Pietro costume here.
Oh, man, it’s all coming back to me. I loved this thing so much.
This screenshot gives me intense feelings of joy. What the hell was that game and when did I play it? I can’t remember, but it looks so delicious!
