@Garion: Yes, it's Windows—but I think they put it in the "server and tools" category. I realize it's still called Windows—but it really is a completely different product. Windows tablet was a failure—no doubt. I think they get a bad rap, though. They were the evil empire—but I think they've learned some humility

@Garion: Right—I hear what you're saying. Just not sure it's 90% considering "server and tools" seems to make up a pretty significant chunk. They actually are pretty well diversified—it's just that, as you point out, a lot of their other products may not be doing as well. Still, it's a good idea to try new

@Garion: Ah. I see the disconnect. Actually, Microsoft offers a wide range of server and tool products. Numerous versions of MSDN, Sharepoint, SQL Server, Silverlight, Windows Home Server, etc. So, there's really a lot more than two things. I think they're probably going to continue to do well.

@Garion: 98? Where'd you get that from? Source?

@Garion: You mean the way Apple makes money on phones and ipods? I'm surprised you'd bring up the word "fix" when defending Apple considering the recent iPhone debacle.

@Yournamehere!: Agreed. And when you consider the recent iPhone 4 debacle—and some of Steve's comments regarding people's concerns, it makes the bias here that much more obvious. You think if Balmer said, "It's just a game console" when xboxes started rroding that people would defend it?

I'm detecting a slight anti-Microsoft bias.

@Daver73: Ah. Sorry. Just noticed the arrow.

@Standish: Inviting onlookers to smell his finger.

They'll probably announce the iPology.

@pixelpushing: Not really. When the xbox was displaying a red ring, it didn't work at all. When it wasn't, it worked flawlessly. Apple is facing a design flaw they have not even acknowledged—much less agreed to repair. XBox was originally covered for repairs for at least a year (two?) even before they agreed to

@pixelpushing: Based on your comment, I gathered my wording was more complementary to your perspective. My point is that, until they do that, they're currently worse.

Six years? All he did was kill someone. Did they find a joint on him or something?

@pixelpushing: It sounds like you're saying that, if Apple eventually offers to fix the issue—and agrees to continue fixing it for up to three years if the antenna flakes out again—then they'll be just as bad as Microsoft?

Now close your eyes...and imagine it's Microsoft.

What does your gut tell you this time, Jesus?

@tineras: Not in China. They just make them there.

Something tells me Jesus Diaz likes it.

"Interests: Apple, fashion, and cuddle parties..."

It seems wrong to imprison someone for recording such short snippets of video. On the other hand, anyone who watches Twilight deserves to be locked up.
