One of my friends told us once that he’d started but never finished Courtship of Princess Leia, which began a decade+ of the running gag of anytime he talked about reading a new book we’d reply with “That’s cool, ever finish Courtship of Princess Leia?” or “You read ____, but still haven’t finished Courtship of

No mention of this?!

But this isn’t the last time we see Laconia, Duarte, Cara, or Xan. If there is a spinoff or movies to continue it, I would imagine they do the last three books.

I am not sure that they have no intention of continuing the story.  I believe that their time at Amazon is over, but this doesn’t mean someone else might not be interested...

Exactly.. this was done to not only use the time jump as a place to pause, but because it will take some time to find the outlet and funds to wrap up the remaining stories.  It also serves them to drive demand from viewers/fans to support funding further production.

I suspect more seasons. The fact that Filip escaped the destruction of the ship is the opening for Season 7

They clearly hope that they can return in some form because the use of the word pause is very deliberate. They also mention that there are three more books to work with.

Seems weird to have to explain this, but because they spent the entire season setting up an intricate story line they had no intention of delivering on.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if someone, somewhere, had considered the current trend/enthusiasm for “revivals” of much-loved shows and decided that if they wait a few years then the show’s fanbase will only continue to grow - all while they’re not having to plough any more production money into it - to the point

But all that glorious warhead-flinging and rail gun fire didn’t exist in a vacuum

I think it is important to point out that Alejandro Jodorowsky is still alive, so it wouldn’t just be his “estate” involved.

Seriously.

I’m wondering if they aren’t secretly hoping or planning to do a couple of expanse movies after the final book comes out, to do the Laconia story, maybe minus the large time jump. Otherwise, there didn’t seem much point in including it in the last 6 episodes at all.

In the short run it is absolutely possible to make money in NFTs. There will be a shuffle eventually and the entire market will bottom out. You will have rare items that will hold some value but just like actual art pieces you do not know what those will be. I see in the future that NFTs that will be actually worth

These guys are still not understanding the rights. They don’t any sort of IP related to the designs or Jodorowsky’s concepts.

Just to make it even more like NFTs issue them a certificate that they definitely purchased an authenticate kick to the balls. They can then sell that certificate to another buyer.

This is basically the perfect storm of willful ignorance, arrogance, and desire to create as big a grift as possible at this point.

Not sure if the “Mod Teens” worked out, but it was a nice nod to the kids in Quadrophrenia (and very much in keeping with Star Wars’ tradition of borrowing from every damn thing).

Yeah, is it just me or does the Daiymo feel like he should have more, like, staff? He has, by my count, seven non-droid staff. Other than Fennec, who is both a guard and his right-hand, he only employs guards. Like, I feel there’s more to running a protection racket than that!

The fights in BoBF all seem really slow and awkward so far. I haven’t watched this episode yet, but his appearance in Mando and the fights in this one all seem silly. There are a lot of problems with the show, but the action scenes are the worst.
