It’s standard on the Special, but the lower spec models have a different tank design. IMO, the graphic is the best part about the Special.

How I’m picturing the thieves:

For what it’s worth, Yamaha is *still* riding the wave of Tenere 700 demand, a year and half after orders were opened. I’m sure Harley has a long while ahead before demand falls off.

Hardly surprising. I have never once gotten a Tenere 700 in for stock since the were announced early last year, they’re always presold before they arrive. I’m now waiting to see what my 2022 allocation looks like, on a bike that was already being shown off and sold in February 2020.

My dealer didn’t even make an attempt. They took my name and number, and said they would call when one was in.

Fuck this new layout.

Who knew? Building a product that people *want* rather than hanging onto some narrow “heritage” leads to increased sales.

Bear ima let you finish but this is the greatest BSG albums of all time.

If you’re driving an average of 4,000 miles per year and live in New York, God bless you. An EV is probably perfect for your needs.

I’ve always used flashers any time I was forced to travel dramatically below the speed limit on the highway (mechanical issue, running out of gas, thick fog, heavy rain) and it seemed that other cars were still moving at higher speeds. That seemed like a good way to indicate slow-moving travel to other cars that

I’m deleting my bookmark like a badass!!!

Not even a mention of Cathy?

ACK!!! It’s a terrible new navigation front page at io9!

There was an entire chapter in the original Freakonomics book about the socioeconomic impact of lead

I honestly don’t think there’s a way lead and the crime rate couldn’t be connected, it’s just a matter of how much.

Then again, it may be just that I’m very attuned to coverage of the leaded vs. unleaded debate given my fascination with the Lead-crime hypothesis:
