The journalistic pipeline continues. The Drive had this story yesterday, without the Vox link, which is from April. What the hell goes on between these two sites? I can understand covering the same news, but having the same “Style” section stories?

The US DOT says that nationwide, most bridges are (supposed to be) inspected every couple of years, with some on an annual cycle and a few on a 48-month cycle.

Not to mention that it’s fine if you’re going to a friend’s house or commuting to work or stuff like that, but it isn’t going to work when you’re going grocery shopping for a family of 4. So if you have to have a non-bike EV anyways, you might as well just not bother with the bike at all.
