Eternal Starlight’s pretty interesting. I’ve only played an hour but it’s got the meta side of FTL down solid. The combat itself does a decent job of emulating the Minority Report experience, making you wave your hands around in various ways to zoom in and out and pan around, which is very much a requirement to play

The developer, Hothead Games, gave up after the third game and made mobile sports games which ended up being way more profitable and they never stopped since.

If Sony wanted more money they should just make deals with indie devs to take 50% instead of 30% and justify the extra 20% as a feature placement cut. They’d make way more money for games that are good and could add a simple stipulation that you can only do this every 6 months so long as the 20% earnings are under

I think I’d rather know that I have to pay up to $25k to get my game seen than spend the time, energy, money, and effort it takes to build a game only to hope and pray that a store features it.
