Beat me to it. Pretty sure they instruct you on how to do this in the tutorial, too. Funny enough, the opening FMV for DQ:Builders 1 has a part where the builder just straight up places a floating block stairway in front of themselves as demonstration of how to get to high places quickly.
It’s great that they’re doing this but what they’re failing to really add to the game is a non-repetitive “cool thing to do to get a cool reward.” I’m already at max power, I play without paying any attention to the fancy gear stats or build because it’s a waste of time, I don’t play the raid because it’s the worst…

Every. Single. Souls game. The closest I’ve come to beating a Souls game is when I beat vanilla Bloodborne. I love them all, so very much, yet still haven’t beaten them. Every time I get close, some other game comes along and I play that instead then never go back.
