When you get to the end-game, you’re given the choice of 1 of 3 specializations to equip (something you can change at any time at the base of operations) and within those specializations are a sort-of perk tree that require points that are not the same as the perk points this article is written about. The…
As a game designer, I like talking about game design! Sometimes Kotaku editors enjoy it too.
Now... I actually have even more reasons for why I disagree with you... but the post was already ranty enough so let’s do something else instead. After making this post, I began to workshop in my head what exactly it is that could be changed with Division 2's setup that would’ve made you feel better without limiting…
These are my opinions, as a person who has to constantly try his damnedest to ensure that developers don’t listen to yours (on this specific issue.)
As long as I don’t lose my current list view... which isn’t in those pictures... which is extremely concerning.
The animals all harbor a mutated form of the Dollar Virus so even if it did drop meat, it wouldn’t be consumable unless you wanted to die.
Huh, I didn’t have that experience at all. Maybe I was just lucky with matchmaking.

What, did you expect Valve to freely admit that because this one, single game got coverage by news sites, they had to remove it to save face? Pfft.
I also would have accepted
It’s worth mentioning that NGU is developed by just 1 person who is enough of a fan of the genre that they ended up wanting to make their own. Through their success with NGU, they were able to quit their day job and develop it full time. It’s a fantastic success story that kinda makes me appreciate NGU all that much…
I feel like adding Kotaku’s and its editors’ tweets doesn’t count. :P
1] Jobs that overlap in skillset have non-gaming coders/designers/etc getting paid far better than their gaming-industry equivalents.
Tell that to the factory line workers who created unions in the first place. Insulting the personalities of people who’ve been ground down by the system and convinced they have no power to change things isn’t helping.
I never said you weren’t. However:
