For example, if you grew up with the N64 platforming game Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie and remember it fondly, you’ll recall how the beloved franchise was stopped in its tracks and converted into some weird spin-off that did its best to crap on the old format that people loved. Consequently, any hope of a true successor was

The only thing that makes them “cringeworthy” is that you wouldn’t play them in front of your mother.

While we’re at it: “Set up shop out of site” or do you mean sight? ;)

Chances that any 1 of those 8 thousand people who would attend such an event has a ratings box to chime in with? Probably zero. This is some hilariously useless action.

I think if you let yourself get too hype about this game, it’s your own fault. The only thing they’ve shown is that you fly around space, have guns, and upgrade things. Do not expect any more than that and you’ll probably be pretty happy with the final result!

As someone who is currently wrecking matches as D.VA I can say that, yes, she is the best.

Wasn’t there already a lot of chatter over Valve translations being exploitative of volunteer services? Seems like this was actually a long time coming. Will be interesting to see what comes of it.

Played over 6 hours last night and not once did Bastion make play of the game. If anything, he’s nerfed!

That 200FPS on Doom sure would be awesome to see... if you had a monitor that supported it!

This wasn’t a jab at the writer. More or less making fun of those who try to fight against solar. ;)

“Solar power plants can be dangerous!”

Some information that, I think, is super important in the text article (skimmed video and it looked like you played solo so maybe missing from there too) is that snapmap, despite allowing multiplayer deathmatch and such, only allows 4 players at a time... which completely kills its viability as a fun place to make

If anyone’s interested in a side-scrolling Castlevania/Bayonetta that already exists, try Valdis Story. It’s pretty good!

I love it when the community management industry gets validated.

Watching a streamer play the start of the game, I quickly saw how the game was handling its secrets and realized, my god, they actually made a new Doom. Like, not a jump-scare bullshit shadow-fest like Doom 3 but an honest to god DOOM game. Right then I knew I had to pick it up and I’ve been loving it (and collecting

And yet they are probably all cataloged and searchable by America’s archive.org website. Huh.

Needs more Vinesauce.
