Class affects only beginning equipment and stats, so all classes are open to all directions. Some are just better at certain

@MissMarlo: I'd definitely give VIII a try. It's simple, rewarding, and loads of fun. Dragon Quest, that is. I have some, but tenuous experience with the others, so I don't feel educated on them enough to recommend them, unfortunately.

@No.Na.: It's not that I haven't played them, I've played them both vicariously through a friend, as well as having my crack out of quick, progress-light playthroughs. Regardless: book plx.
