Edgy? Please. They didn’t even show full penetration.

Someone needs to come out from under their rock.

That’s a common theme with Mayweather’s opponents. Facing a deadly counter puncher can be paralyzing.

Can we talk about the intentional foul called on Klay Thompson????

Also, when you release a fish back into the water don’t just chuck it in. Hold it under the water and move it back and forth slowly to get water running through the gills until it swims off. Getting caught is obviously traumatic for a fish, doing this gives them the best chance of being ok after.

Very true. An avalanche course will (should) cover assessing risk, looking at snow conditions etc. But assessing all those things and making the decision to turn around comes with experience and people can be dumb and cocky. Having the equipment is the absolute bare minimum.

Big difference between the states and Europe: they don't do avalanche control off-piste in Europe. Good to know if you're over there, as these folks were. Also, the sweet spot for avalanches is between 36-38 degrees, but can happen anywhere from 25-45 degrees, not necessarily the steepest terrain on the mountain.

That graph about migration in the 1800s >>> Irish potato famine.

I wonder if there are advanced placement courses WITHIN the AP infrastructure, so that Harvard can only admit kids who have taken AP AP AP AP calculus.
