I washed it at local coin-op yesterday. :<
I ditched the terrible stock WRX wheels for a second set of ‘05-07 STI wheels. Forged BBS goodness.
I don’t recommend it. Luckily, I was foolish enough to manage this in my parent’s driveway so I just fetched the tractor, cleared the snow in front of the car and pulled it free myself.
Finally got around to sorting through my photos from this year and whittled 500 or so shots down to 42 of my favourites and/or best. I hope I get some more time to shoot next year as I didn’t really manage to do so in the latter half of this year. C’est la vie.
There are a few fellow owners here so I figured I’d poll for some advice. I’m looking to try out some sway bars on my Subaru, mostly to improve perfermance/balance in autocross. To stay in Street I’ll only run one but I intend to buy and try* one front and rear bar. Does anyone here have experience with aftermarket…
Pretty sure I nailed the timing on that one.
I tend to be a little selfish when it comes to my cars. If we’re taking my car - which we often do because I like to drive - I’m driving, even if someone else offers or ask to drive. I like the feeling of being in control, no matter the traffic, road conditions or weather.
My WRX, clean and freshly waxed.
Who’d have thunk it.
Set number 2 and 3, Enkei PF01s that the previous owner had powdercoated in this bronze and (fairly rough) ‘05-07 STI forged BBSs.
In the hands of Matt Leblanc, Rory Reid and Chris Harris.
Here we see a young WRX in its natural environment, seeking sustenance at the local watering hole. Alas, this establishment is unable to provide the 91 Octane it craves.
Looks like I’ll be picking up my Subie on Monday and since winter has started here I’ll be putting winter tires on it immediately. They will go on the stock wheels, because I don’t care much for their looks, so I’ll need another set for the tires that come with it. What’s the consensus on this setup?
Or eventually..., I don’t know yet.
This is interesting:
The design was passed on because of IP concerns with the Hella brand. I thought it might be ok on artistic license but their decision is understandable. I can throw it up on my Society6 page if there is any interest.
Just spectating, but badass nonetheless.
First things first. This van is cursed. Please, oh please take it away from my house before it kills me. Secondly, the mileage listed above is wrong. Read on, dear buyer, and find out why.
