And about her cheeseburger eating abilities... 30? Just another one of those "I'm effortlessly skinny" types I guess...

I engage in both, but I'm very reluctant to accept that reading books is somehow innately better for your brain than video games. Reading uses your language skills and allows you imagine or create scenarios in your brain. Video games might use spatial awareness, problem solving or hand-eye coordination. They are just

Graham Norton is like the best host of the most fabulous cocktail party you ever went to, with all the funniest people. And he is so gracious - or the way they cut it makes it seem like he is. The conversation is always flowing and they talk about each guest an equal amount in a very relaxed way, and everyone gets the

I work at a zoo and every second question regarding red pandas is some variation of "Can I take one home?" However, one of ours did escape a long time ago I'm told, and was found curled up in somebody's laundry basket a few blocks away. And that kind person did not elect to keep him/her but called the Zoo to come and

Or it's a bit like Gallus gallus - in the wild, quite endangered. In captivity = KFC.

They are one of those species that have a hard time in the wild, but they make pretty good zoo animals because they are docile (read:kinda lazy) and easy to feed as long as you can grow bamboo and chop a bit of fruit. I wouldn't necessarily say they are "easy" to breed in zoos - the female is in season 24 hours out of

Step two: await death of loved one? :(

oh and, the kids singing in this one bring me to tears and I don't even know what they are saying:

All pet food ads are a manipulative lot of old kakarot - check out this one- the cat is adorable and in a cartoon world of happy sea creatures just DYING to be eaten. I think this ad and the song is adorable, and that's as a vegetarian who is actually pretty concerned about the overfishing of the seas in order to feed

Am I a total cynic or did I actually not see anywhere that this ad was sponsoring adoptions? Those were all pedigrees "ready for their close up". I just saw an ad for the Westminster dog show, nothing more.

So is sugar. I stopped cold turkey for like a week once and I got THE WORST headache. Lesson learned. Never giving up sugar again. :P

Agreed - I love caffeine most of the time, but the stuff in coffee (as opposed to the stuff in Red Bull) gives me the worst shakes for some reason!

I have only one kidney and was told that pregnancy could be a strain on a single one. I don't know how correct that is, but maybe let yours settle into the job of filtering for two before you ask it to filter for four! ;)

It's funny this article mentions Gwen Stefani because this picture reminds me so much of her.

SDA's are vegetarian all the time I think, and dabble in veganism. :) I'm usually a pretty staunch atheist, but if you're going to have a religion, have a vegetarian one, I say! Hare Krishnas FTW.

I am quick to run my mouth off and if I don't like something, I will be direct, state my case and explain that X bothers me. This directness does not always go down well. It frequently dissolves into an argument. Even though I don't employ the passive aggressive tactic, I can totally see why some people do.

Is that the same as Seventh Day Adventists? I know they dig their vegan vittles too. :)

#itsnotaboutdenial :)

Ahaha you found one. I meant in the shopping list. I've eaten daal of course too ;)

Thank you! I am sick of the contention that veganism is for the privileged few of us in the 1st world - not so when half the planet eats vegan food every day without even thinking about it!! I am lucky to live in a country with many different ethnicities represented and so there is a veritable smorgasbord of delicious
