raffey I think raqu has a point - if someone systematically snapped the necks of puppies killing them instantly, people would still have a major fucking problem with it. It's not just about the WAY they died, what people are sad about is that PUPPIES died. Animals die all the time and people are only sad when they're

Try going vege for a while - I promise, you won't die. Killing animals for food is not about survival here in the first world, 2013.

Haha I can't feel my abs at all under this paunch and I've never been happy about that until now!!

OK not counting pre toilet training days no. And my man is an oversharer, especially in the case of poop, so don't think I would've been spared any tales of poop woe had there been any.

Perhaps I am making an erroneous correlation assumption here but he'd never had MDMA before and also never pooped himself before - though I am sure you are right that the booze had it's role to play also.

My husband's friend MDMA crashed his bachelor party and made him poop himself.

Isn't the punchline to this one, "Yes but it only takes four (or whatever) to slap you in the face."?

Erm, just a wee point - there is very good reason NOT to leave your cats body in the forest for other animals to eat her. If the cat is euthanized, the chemicals will stay in her body for a long time. It won't matter much if you bury or cremate her, but it could do another animal some damage to eat a cat with

Non-capitalization of personal pronoun, using "of" instead of "have". Not sexy. Next!

It's weird, eh?

Come on now, hardly any parents have cool 30 grand floating around in their accounts by the time they get knocked up. Most people's lives aren't completely sorted out by the time kids are added to the equation - it's far from ideal but that's the reality because otherwise people would be waiting till their late 30s

Maybe not, But Writing Like This Does Give The Impression One Is Reading Religious Propaganda.

I agree what they are doing is terribly hypocritical, but I used to work in a shelter and we weren't even allowed to talk about euthanasia with our volunteers - even though we did it all the time. I just think it's better when people know the truth - shelters are killing animals all the damn time and it sucks. PETA

My hatred of PE in high school has lead to a really bad relationship with physical exercise as an adult. There are a few things I enjoy, swimming, karate and walking my dogs but I still avoid anything team sports related and I would never run unless I was being chased.

ALF is anyone, from any country who identifies with animal liberation. Any nut ball with a crowbar, a balaclava and red paint can call themselves the ALF. There's bound to be some crossover members and I'm sure they support some of their actions but I'm not sure that funding thing is accurate.

Even most shelters are at least 50/50 though. PETA get a lot of shit for this when really they're only slightly worse than the average SPCA/municipal dog pound.

Apparently the best way to ensure a species' continued survival is to domesticate it as a food animal. Chicken's ancestors, wild Gallus gallus are VERY endangered in the wild, and yet we keep battering and making nuggets out of their cousins.

Remove the part about not eating them because of said intelligence level and my point still stands. Their above-barnyard animal intelligence is not "verifiable by science" that was totally talking out of your arse. There are plenty of articles demonstrating the intelligence and sensitivity of cattle, pigs and chickens

I really have to strongly disagree, as a post graduate student of animal welfare science, familiar with the literature on this subject. If it is indeed "verifiable via science" then please show me the peer reviewed paper that suggests that horses are more intelligent than pigs/cows/chickens etc. There is no such

I didn't mean to offend you, but your post sounded very condescending to other vegetarians, so I took offence to that. You essentially depict them as immature i.e: "I stopped being a self-righteous one once I got out of my teens". It's not the so called"self-righteous" behaviour of vegetarians that mean you have to be
