I'm inclined to agree that it's not faked, at least. if you pause the video just before the plane passes, you can see the warped propellers from the camera sensor scan. That seems like itd be a ton of work to fake...but possible?

Fair. I figured with all the rest of the work done to that car they wouldn't have under-spec'd the brakes, but I guess they just looked a bit small. The chute does most of the work first anyway.
