I can’t help directly. You have to ask one of the authors. The best way is to comment early on a story and get one of the authors to reply to you (obviously make sure it is complimentary, not combative). Then reply to them and make your case to un-grey you. That’s a lot harder than it used to be since the authors seem…
Did you read the post from Apollo? The amount Reddit is asking for is 20 times higher than any other platform. It’s multiple times what Reddit gains for advertising on the same number of users. It is multiple times higher than Apollo charges their premium subscribers. It is extortionist. It also comes just a few…
Normally with most actors and roles I’d agree with you. However Mark Hamill worked with the creator of Star Wars, George Lucas, and had many discussions with him over the years about the character of Luke Skywalker. The many novels/storyline that used the character of Luke Skywalker had to be approved by George Lucas…
The key phrase in your comment is “to some of us”, the fact is that a majority of Star Wars fans do like the Jedi and the Sith, their conflict, lightsabers and force sensitive characters like Luke, Ezra and Ahsoka. While Star Wars will definitely put out shows, like Andor, and movies, like Solo and Rogue One, that…
Just because you personally want stories that don’t involve the Jedi doesn’t mean Star Wars is creatively bankrupt. The majority of Star Wars fans do like the Jedi and also are invested in Jedi characters like Luke, Ezra and Ahsoka. Star Wars just put out a show, Andor, that didn't involve Jedi at all. I have many…
I truly despised TLJ but at least Johnson opened the door at the end for more Jedi...
Finding lost Jedi who had escaped the Purge has been a thing for literal decades. It didn’t just start in 2019, or even 2005.
Yeah, you should. It’s on the same level as Temple of Doom, with a great villain in Cate Blanchett (and really, swapping out Nazis for evil Communists was refreshing), some great set pieces, and one of the most horrifying on-screen deaths of all time. The ridiculous moments aren’t really any more ridiculous than the…
I have not seen a single review say that. They aren’t impressed by the movie, but I saw no actual critic review that truly hated it to that degree. Sources?
So weird to watch this place bend over backwards to praise Flash despite all its problems with Miller as a person while absolutely shitting on Mario under the guise of Pratt’s shitty politics.
Four billion-dollar-plus movies and one more just a smidge below that — only decent numbers... Yeah, right.
They sort of did a soft reboot with Bumblebee and continued it with this one. Because now the Transformers have been on earth since the 80s/90s or so. When in the first Transformers movie it’s very cleary shown that most of the Autobots do not arrive until 2007.
It’s my understanding that ALL of these live-action Disney remakes have under-performed.. like, consistently.
They basically did that with the Bumble Bee movie. I believe that it started as a prequel, of sorts, but ended up being a reboot. I had the same questions, since Bumble Bee movie completely went against everything in the Last Knight movie.
Maybe they explain it, most likely they won’t, but if this is a direct sequel to Bumblebee why does this Wheeljack look like this:
Caught it in a screener last night ,me and my buddy were left confused.
that’s the disguise though. the humanoid form is their normal form while the animal form is their disguise. the other transformers are disguised as vehicles and are realistic looking.
I might be mistaken, but aren’t the animals their disguised form? It’s a gorilla as opposed to a truck, not a gorilla as opposed to a robot.
that would be because they transform into AUTOs, not humans.
