To be fair, one could probably find at least ten people willing to march and chant “FUCK TOM BRADY” regardless of the occasion, so in that aspect the reaction was almost restrained.

Worst thing about this, in 9 months there will be new Eagles fans.
I blame the absence of fathers in the white community. Where is the personal responsibility???
Hell, Joe Dante got poor Vic Morrow’s head chopped off with a helicopter blade on the set of the Twilight Zone movie and is still working to this day.
Any car that you can swap the engine on with little more than a few wrenchs and a floor jack (less the floor jack if you can lift) is not the sturdy machine to be doing stunt driving.
Where’s the sexual harassment by Tarantino and what exactly constitutes abuse of power? Telling an actress she should drive a car at 40 mph? If that is abuse of power which should bring him down, most directors, male and female, would be out of work.
I’m a lawyer as well. A client with significant legal problems, and the ability to pay, is a goldmine. The fact that they’re withdrawing is indicative of an uncooperative client, or one causing an ethical dilemma.
“I am not a lawyer, but I would think if three defense attorneys suddenly don’t want to defend a client any longer — especially in a high stakes case such as this — that could be an indication that an anvil is about to drop on someone’s head.”
The reality is people complain when things are delayed then complain when things aren’t complete and feel rushed to market. There is no appeasing some people.
You know what gets me? That whole “A Few Bad Apples” defense? It forgets the next like “A few bad apples... spoil the whole bunch.”. These departments, a LOT of departments, need to have a whole house cleaning, down to the fucking floor boards. Rip out all the training material. Rip out the senior officers. Start it…
But it was the revelation that the supervisor of the unit instructed officers to carry a toy gun just in case they found themselves “in a jam” and needed to plant one.
Well, she sounds just lovely!
What a horrendously bad take.
He paid, on average over the life of the loan, under $18/month in interest. That was the cost of having a reliable car.
If the term is what’s bothering you, pay more. Nobody’s gonna stop you if you deposit an extra 20% every month. I used to take lower terms but the banks all have a hardo on super long auto loans now so they usually get you the best rates. I just take them and pay whatever extra I need to in order to end it when I want…
I’m not sure I get it?
If its a new car, you should always finance. I’d rather put $5000 down and put $15,000 in an index fund than put $20k+ down on a car. And if its a 0% interest loan, you should always put the minimum down for it.
You transacted the valuable utility of being able to own a modern car of reasonably high value for necessary car things in exchange for the financing, maintenance, and depreciation of said product. So in the end, that is kind of what cars cost. They are a culmination of tons of hours of manpower, labor, and parts…
I didn’t hear her express surprise.
Judging from the last time she made a list, there might not be any room for apologies:
