The stock has been hitting 14 year highs consistently for almost a year. Oops.
You got caught up in being clever instead of being accurate. I'm assuming you meant MS losing money in gaming, right? That's not happening. Sony is the one that has been losing there and everywhere else while MS has been making money in gaming and especially in other areas.
A lot of it is driven by the standards of white men. Why do I say that? Because white men tend to be the ones most attracted to boney women. Am I wrong?
... I live in a state bi-state area of sheep ...
Because I honestly believe that if they controlled the message (which, it being THEIR message they completely had the right to do), then the response wouldn't have been the same. While there would still be some that hated it (possibly disingenuously as there were many opportunistic MS-haters and PS-fanboys that…
Your memory is fuzzy. MS had no intention of talking about those policies (just like Sony avoided talking about theirs comprehensively), but no matter what they presented about the console at the reveal and then later E3, the media was obsessed with asking about every single detail of the policies. Why? The leaks.
Cute.
Nope. They had no opportunity to control the message. If they controlled the message and the gaming community responded the same way, they would've likely reversed it anyway. The leaks took that opportunity away from them and us, thus we didn't understand WHY they were doing it and just called it evil. Everything…
The Xbox One. That story is enough.
Leakers are REALLY hurting the industry. I used to love leaks too until I started being less selfish and saw that they affect the bigger picture, especially on the reactionary internet. Controlling the message IS that important. It'd be like someone ruining your elaborate surprise wedding proposal just because they…
You want to accurately portray Rocket, then read the GotG series that were written by the team of Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (commonly referred to as DnA). They are still fairly recent and will likely inform you more as to who Rocket is and probably how he'll be portrayed in the movie. Plus they are an awesome read.
You're talking maybe a dozen issues of the new series that Bendis is writing (who I enjoy, but his Rocket is quite off at times) compared to the entirety of his characterization prior to that. So yeah, I stick by what I said.
Psychopathic raccoon? For an audience that is generally unfamiliar with the character, that really isn't the best or most appropriate adjective to use for who Rocket is. Note: I do realize that's how marketing is presenting him too ... ugh.
What will be interesting to me is how little sales change after all of this because people really didn't care that much about this stuff and are just fanboys that wouldn't buy the XBO no matter what. I could be wrong, but we'll see ...
Um ... I have Google Fiber. BRING IT!!!
Same thing that would happen if your power went down while you were playing a game.
Wow, the number of people upset about this simple social experiment here is very telling. I get the feeling a number of you are guilty of this behavior and are just trying to defend your actions, no matter how illogical they truly are. Reading comprehension is truly dying ... :(
