Then I'm a statistical anomaly! I had my second SSD (a crucial and a kingston) fail me last month within 8 months, both as windows installs only. I replace HDDs every 3 years or so out of habit and sure I have a few fail, but 2 SSDs in 8 months was frustrating to say the least. I've had people tell me I should have

"I guess they don't realize that someone thrown immediately to a high level may not know that class..."

Do yourself a favor and get nice hybrid drive. I got a terabyte hybrid drive for my laptop for only $90, speed of an ssd with the affordability of a regular HD

Steam Sale.

Call me when it's on Android, Kotaku. I wouldn't go back to that other product ever again.

I agree. And IBM Watson used the exact same strategy and for some reason no rage happened.

I'm gonna go right ahead and say that although this Pill guy does make a good point that sexual predators aren't understood, the need to mitigate the damage they cause to others, especially children who have not developed enough to know how to handle and cope with trauma, FAR outweighs any responsibility we have to

Child molestation usually occurs from known pedophiles. Yes, it can happen from non "pedophiles" but that's also a question of if they identify as one or not. In this case, the article we are commenting on, this person may not have committed any acts *yet* but they are finding evidence that they were attempting to

I wouldn't imply something that serious. I will outright tell you that these people deserve your sympathy. If your sexual attraction was a social (and maybe literal) death sentence, you'd wish you were different too.

I dunno. I've met some pretty shitty kids.

It was. I was specifically recalling this story, but didn't know how to search it. I didn't want my Google search history full of that, for some paranoid reason.

It's not just the pedophilia, it's the act of coercing minors into acts they might have little awareness of beforehand. To put it bluntly - you know those creepy "pickup artist" tips and tricks designed to "get women into bed" or "turn that no into a yes"? Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but a fully grown adult using

Forgot where I saw it, but I remember this story where an 18 year old went to the cops and was like "I've been having sexual feelings for small children, I dont like these feelings but its just how I'm wired, I havent assaulted anyone yet, please lock me up / help me." The authority basically went "Well we cant

I'm going to go ahead and agree with you over PillBinge. your response seemed correct in view of the situation AND the literal definition of the term of predator (one who preys or hunts). +1 to you for your misunderstood musings

I think he is. I understand what he's saying; that these people are mentally ill, but that does not make what they do any less of an atrocity, and I would be just as willing to cut one's manhood off as much as take them to a psychologist. actually, i think executing them is a better option. Screw trying to fix them,

Reminds me of the scare about a child sex offender driving behind a car that had a kid in it in order to send him messages via DS Pictochat.

Jason's articles concerning Flappy Bird in particular have been incredibly petty and almost tantrum-like, not to mention hugely inconsistent with the other authors posting seemingly positive videos that encourage playing it. They're failing miserably in maintaining their neutrality and overall credibility.

Oh it's not just kotaku, it's everyone

I'm surprised I had to scroll this far down to see someone call out Kotaku on this BS. Kotaku is pointing fingers at Buzzfeed, but they themselves posted at least 3-4 articles about the game themselves. Shame on Kotaku, especially Jason.

Even if everyone at Kotaku did agree with Jason, that still wouldnt' change the fact that this is an opinion. The only way I could see it being factual, is if the game were art were 100% identical or 1 pixel were changed or something.
