According to Sir Frank one of the reasons Adrian Newey left was because he wanted an ownership stake in the team, and they wouldn't give it to him. Sir Frank (not one for regrets it must be said) said he regrets that decision dearly.

It's actually an SMS 125 - but what it's relation is to the off road machines is I can't say as I wasn't all that up on them at the time. It was pretty much the most trick on road 125 you could buy in the UK at the time - and possibly the last of the two strokes :)

MacPherson struts are absolutely fine for a road car. In fact they are probably the best solution for a 911 because of it's compact size, packaging constraints and everyday reliability.
