*silence*

Well I was a teen girl once, not that long ago.

Oh boo-hoo. Cry me a river!

Wow, Okay so I am a PSMVP and a Gaf member. PSMVPs don’t work for Sony. It’s just an ambassadors program. I still play PC, Xbox and Nintendo games and own their systems and if you checked my post history. I talk about games on all platforms. http://us.playstation.com/ps-mvp-program…

Do people really still believe this?? That’s so sad.

I mean, were people really thinking of FamousMortimer as a legitimate industry insider, simply because he came up with the #PS4NoDRM hashtag campaign? That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. He certainly tried to position himself in that way afterwards in order to make the most of his 15 minutes, but that

We’re only interested in oppressing you personally, Einbroch. We’re cool with everyone else.

There’s no deal between me and Sony. Drive Club seemed like a pretty unremarkable game and I didn’t buy it, but it was the only thing in town for a while on the PS4, so some people were inevitably emotionally invested in its success. It takes around six months for people knee-deep in marketing hype to get a clear head

I know it can seem unfair to be banned permanently for something that you might not feel was all that bad, but NeoGAF is a closed registration community where >99% of the visitors only read the site and don’t post. As such, you can still enjoy the site without having an account, and we’re very strict about member

Basement-dwelling virgin subculture needed some way to empower itself, and I guess that way was sending terrorist threats to women for talking about video games. It would be good for a laugh if not for the lives it’s ruined.

Well, I’ll admit that the rules and atmosphere at NeoGAF are in some ways designed to foster this sort of mindset. But, back in 1999 in a previous incarnation of the community, before I was running things, I was shy about posting, too. The rules were strict, I felt intimidated, so I lurked for months and my first

Loaded question to say the least. NeoGAF’s members aren’t anything. Every type of preference and fandom and industry affiliation is accounted for in the userbase. If more people are happier about the Playstation than the Xbox right now, then it might mean that the Playstation is doing better than the Xbox is in the

Do people genuinely think video games cause sexism? Because that’s a ridiculously stupid stance. Are there many people in the community who exhibit sexism? That’s a different question. (One I don’t care about)

“the recommendation should be directed only toward the most hardcore gamers?” lmao dude get over yourself, it’s déclassé to broadcast how deeply you’ve invested your entire identity in beating a video game

I’m curious, do you expect us to try and convince you otherwise or are you hoping the developers will somehow read this and modify their game to your liking?

You’re assuming he thinks everyone will like it. That’s not the point of a recommendation. He’s saying it’s a game that should be played. It’s up to the individual to decide if it’s interesting/fun enough to continue, but at very least, people should try it. Nothing wrong with saying so. “Should you play it? YES”

I would never recommend this game to everyone, but I want to make sure the curious know it’s possible for them to enjoy it. These games have a reputation of being “hard,” which turns off a lot of people. It turned ME off for a long time, too. But I gave them a chance, and I finally understood why they were amazing.

it was published by Sony. it isn’t going to be on any other platform.
