I don't get the appeal of the show, but the amount of hateful comments here is pretty disheartening. People like different things, it isn't hard to understand.

MLP:FiM isn't anywhere near as girl-centred as barbie. It has a ton of broad references and nods to other stuff and general fun messages, etc.

Actually Season 4 is one of the best season imo. But Season 3 was a hit or miss to me.
