I like that feature on Xbox One, too. It's basically the only Kinect command that I routinely use. That said, I've really come to like the PS4's share button, too. Then again, because of this job I grab a lot of screenshots and videos from the games I play - if I wasn't working at Kotaku, I probably wouldn't care

It's a good thing you played it. November 23 of this year will be the 40th anniversary of the death of my dad. The evening after my mom's birthday he was driving to the grocery store with one of my elder brothers in an old 1963 Buick Century (the car companies weren't required to install seatbelts, and my dad bought

*sigh of relief*

I dunno, my kid and all his little friends want PS Vitas. But we live in Japan, and I dunno what it's like elsewhere... *shrugs*

Do you know what The Walking Dead does have? Great story, characters and genuine emotional impact. The review also mentions this has a weak story, so not the best comparison.

I totally get that! I do really love a game like The Walking Dead, and recognize that it's very light on the puzzle side of things. I also loved a game like Broken Age for exactly the opposite reason—it gave me incredibly difficult, tempted-to-pull-my-hair-out puzzles that, as you said, could only be solved in one

We don't generally post sales numbers as a rule, unless they are extraordinary in some way.

Look at Assassin's Creed - that's history/fiction done well. A merge of historical accuracy with interwoven fantasy. The gods in Ryse aren't the problem, since that's the fantasy element. It's the historical aspects that are way off base.

"So yeah, "because video games"."

Ehhh, I couldn't get over how historically inaccurate it is. They use a few real names, like Nero, and Boudicca, and then spew out a story so bad I eventually gave up face-palming and just laughed at how horrendous it is instead.

Well, my friend, that's one of the many things in life you will never enjoy as others do.

well, expectations and all, i think we can safely assume that there wont be a lot of japanese developed games that wont be on the ps4, so while i feel you on exclusivity if this is your kind of game, phistory does kind of suggest that the ps4 was the system for you, its how i made the call of which non nintendo next

The word is they're co-developing the game with FROM, similar to what they did with Demon's Souls. So not really 'bought' the exclusivity as much as 'are partially making the game'.

Eeeeeeee It's so exciting! I can't wait to see more!

HOLY FUCKLY FUCK

Guess I'm getting a PS4.

I certainly do. ^_^

I was actually hoping for Chrom to be playable considering the tradition seemed to be having Marth and whomever the protagonist was in the most recent Fire Emblem game.
