The Souls series already has a large amount of customization, from every piece of clothing, to augmenting them, and the same for weapons and spells and miracles and hexes.

Honestly, an exclusive Souls game for Sony is just what they need to guarantee that a large percentage of their PS3 owners become PS4 owners by the time the game launches.

Actually, Sony has been talking about working together with From again for a while, eventually hitting home more rumors in early May that Sony will be the Producer of this title, much more likely making it PS4 only.

A series this good doesn't need major changes, just major expansions.
