Beating the games story is one thing.

Speed runners usually speed run games they love, or games where they want a challenge.

Lots of shows that star out not being 'geared towards adults' end up being more popular with adults though, and become just like any other group of fans.

I still don't see why they would lie. They haven't lied about map sizes before, and that's been one of their major selling points ever since San Andrea's was released with three major cities and plenty of wilderness to navigate.
