They’d never get their own dealers to buy in on this. The biggest hindrance that HD has to change and renewal is their own dealers. They are assholes who actively deride the customer base. And the old guys seem to lap it up, because... I have no idea because why, but they do. It turns new customers off though, even…
How dare you! This is innovation at its finest and deserves applause!
In the complete absurdity of this whole thing what got me the most was:
This entire thing sounds like a Danny McBride / Eastbound and Down episode, complete with Stevie Janowski being Kenny’s hired muscle.

“I hit stupid orange cones all the time, ON PURPOSE, because, like Elon, I realize they serve no useful purpose except to hold back a multitide ofimbeciles like you, sitting in your cars, slaves to one stupid little orange cone.”
The beauty about this truck, is that it will force the entire car market to change their car designs.
Quite simply, it was created by Dan Dreiberg as an insult to Laurie, as a final “fuck you”.
It’s not supposed to be realistic, it’s supposed to be insulting.
Bone broth to be exact. Which is kind of soup kind of hot beverage...
properly educated American
Yeah, and if your aunt had balls she’d be your uncle. The fact is our drivers aren’t educated and they have fuckall for lane discipline and situational awareness. Also, as others have pointed out, the majority of our highways weren’t built and certainly aren’t maintained nearly up to autobahn snuff. We’d need to strip…
I dunno, the kids will probably be funnier and more interesting more often. Scott Snyder’s work is like slogging through a swamp in mid July.
There is a very good possibility that this is a misdirect.
I was in the same camp. Skeptical about a Watchmen series, disillusioned with HBO, low opinion of Lindelof after Prometheus and Into Darkness.
You’re right. You’re right. That kind of nobility cannot exist in this world.
“...but this attempt of his character to “make it right” is just some cowardly bullshit.”
AV Club has given every episode thus far A- and above, which is insane to me but at the same time is pretty well earned. You should give it a go if you are interested. Admittedly I didn’t know who Lindelof was prior as I never watched Lost and associated the bad movies with Roberto Orci ‘s writing.
And it wouldn’t surprise me if that very point was brought up in the writers’ room. Lindelof’s spoken pretty highly of the group he assembled.
Like many snobby geeks (which may be redundant) and basically anyone familiar with Lindelof I bypassed this, but out of curiousity I’ve been reading the recaps here—-especially when they mention something from the orignal series—-and I have to admit it sounds fairly interesting.
