I don’t think it’s a win. They are just shoving things under the carpet. Hiding more skeletons in the closet. I’d rather they just delete the character and no longer make money off DLC for the character.

Activision/Blizzard has had a few years to fix their HR problems. This isn’t new. I’m just gonna take a wild guess and say a few years from now, they’re gonna be in the headlines again with some HR problem.  And they’ll ask themselves, which character do we have to rename this time.

That’s fine. I don’t have anything to prove to you either for making an opinion based off my intuition, gut feeling, and maybe a little bit of common sense.

I’m open to other interpretations with proof.  I heard something about maybe children and parents sending in complaints and maybe that’s what is forcing the change.  Any proof of that?

Just a simple theory of who benefits the most financially. I’m sure more active hours played leads to more games and DLC being purchased.

This is such great news! More people need breaks. Especially those in high stress and long hour environments. They need time to refocus, replan, and reflect on their goals and efforts. There’s a button that’ll turn on the dryer that blows warm air around your bottom. Probably will need to set it to full blast for the hairier among us.

So the game didn’t sell as well as expected. I’d say that’s a just cause to put it on Game Pass. Or do you think Square did it just cause?
