How quickly this is falling apart on him is hilarious to watch though.

Wow, that gameplay video gives me some very late ‘90s nostalgia for much better games that still weren’t very good.

One of the bane of early cinematic pre-rendered 3D intro in video games was the flying camera syndrome. These intro were made by people who seemingly had never seen a film in their life and had no clue about cinema’s visual grammar, so the camera would just fly around awkwardly with no sense nor reason.

It’s amazing how many people openly call it a hellscape and a shithole, acknowledge that it has no useful purpose as a site and in fact has instead significantly contributed to numerous societal problems, and yet still use it.

Legit question: when are these politicians going to start seriously cracking down on big tech social media companies through legislation? Where is the ghost of Teddy Roosevelt splitting the skulls of monopolies and other oligarchs when you need him? I’m all for a free and open internet with no censorship and (minimal)

I’d rather them delay the season to work around Cavill’s schedule instead of recasting. Especially since I imagine Season 4 will largely be an adaptation of Baptism of Fire, which could be reworked to put the focus on Ciri and The Rats, and reduce the Geralt side of the story to smaller bits culminating in the Battle

Hank Green recently tweeted this, and it is Elon Musk.

Welp, there goes any sympathy I had.

This is not just the woman responsible for banning Trump. This is the woman responsible for defending the free speech of Twitter users that are actually under attack. Musk wants to fashion himself as a free speech warrior, well she was actually someone fighting in court to protect speech while Musk was learning the

He is from Florida.

Yes, it’s called NFT.

Soon enough we’ll have to buy a license to look at certain colors.

This happened to me a couple times when I went to people’s houses for work (in the home medical equipment industry). It was usually a middle aged man who was very polite and happy to see me. But then he turned completely frightening if my staff forget to tell me something specific he requested and I showed up without

That scariest thing of all is the decision to make this sacred annual treat into a freakin’ slideshow.

I remember when gamestop bought thinkgeek, around when they started to branch heavily into merchandise. I can’t say for sure that thinkgeek was in financially a good place (for all I know they were doing badly and that’s why they got sold) but it’s a shame that gamestop bought them but shut them down and now all the

Gamestop’s only chance of survival in my opinion is to become a ‘destination’. There’s a local comic book store in my town that set up several card tables in the rear and people flock there to play Magic and DnD together. Finding a niche like that, a reason to socialize at their locations, is probably their best bet.

What do you think the overlap in the Venn diagram is between video game players that talk about how difficult games shouldn’t have easy modes (and probably use cheese strata to get through said difficult games) and players complaining about skill based matchmaking that reveals they aren’t as good as they think.

“I’m not playing this game because I wanna bully people and it won’t let me” is so weak. WEAK.

Lootboxes the way they were implemented in OW are perfectly fine design wise for most people. They incentivise playing the game and you don’t feel particularly forced to pay for them. I did buy a pack of them for like 20$ once in 2016 I believe and that was it.

This story is missing the really cool context: this episode all began with one Deviantart image by a Simpsons fan.
