While the ‘accurate’ or perhaps ‘traditional’ definitions of “alpha” and “beta” have definitely blurred. Especially as a lot of them have started to serve crossed purposes of both development *AND* marketing. That doesn’t mean that the ‘beta’ is no longer that.

Niantic underestimating the stresses on their system? What a shock, who would have expected such a thing.
What gets me is that americans act like 9/11 is this big deal that changed the world. But then when they’re asked about similar events that occured in other countries they’re like “What? Sorry, don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Should more women be elected? Yes. Would it solve the defined problem directly or indirectly based on the exclusive criteria of “More women elected”? No.
And here we have yet another reason why consoles are inferior to PC. Back up that save and have the kid have his way. After? Reset your own save and progress providing even more toys for the little one to mess around with next time he goes.

You’d be surprised how much you can fit in a “small” (by american standards) home if you live in a country where the land your house is built on comes at a premium.

It’s kind of a bummer, given what Itch.io has come to represent in the independent games scene. That said, this is by no means ruinous. I just hope these fraud attempts aren’t a sign of things to come.
In some ways? Sure. In others? No. The switch has such a ridiculous identity crisis with regards to the different target audiences it caters to. And not all of them will prefer the Switch over the 3DS. Kicking the actual handheld out the door is going to result in a thriving resellers market for yet another Nintendo…
A lot of people believe that their chosen alignment restricts their behaviour. They fail to realize that their alignment instead reflects their actions.
This is because the people making the cheating tools are constantly finding ways to beat the system. Automation only goes so far.
Oh yes. The age old “Cheating is allowed, it is getting caught that is the problem.”
