I've restored a handful of files here and there without issue. Never had to do anything huge like a whole machine though. I find the whole process pretty simple, and their support is incredible. However, with many backup solution, it's always a good idea to test a restore periodically.

True, especially during that initial backup. It can really bog things down if you aren't careful.

In the Pro version, you can also create symlinks in Windows if you want to back up to a Windows network share (although I don't think it's technically supported). Not sure about the regular version.
