When Lil’ John was reached for comment, he had this to say...

I feel like I’m going through the grieving process against Rachel. First I thought it was funny, then I sympathetic because I truly believe she has a mental disorder.

The world’s always been ridiculous.

....i can sometimes pass for white (very light skin but my features give away that i’m Chicana) so i feel you when white folks run their mouths thinking you are “in” on their bs. BUT we don’t experience racism like our darker skin fam. It’s really important that we acknowledge that so we can be more effective in

You probably had an over exaggerated response of betrayal from them for pretending to be white. When you actually weren’t, you are bitcholaporvida who happens to be Hispanic. It’s all messed up when you are a light skinned minority. The “ethnics” partially blame you because your ancestors bought in to the oppression

I’m another lighter skinned Hispanic, and while I think i’ve faced much less discrimination than darker skinned Hispanics (my father, for instance), it’s not like it never happens, although it’s less, “are you even legal here?” And more, “oh, you’re Hispanic? Can you help me find some taco seasoning? You must love

I think it’s just blowing people’s minds that she’s been doing this for 10 years.

I feel pretty bad for thinking this but....

Humans!

Maybe they think there’s different designations of black people.

So, in this week’s episode of “Two Things Can Be True at the Same Damn Time”, her parents sound kinda toxic and I express my empathy towards Rachel. HOWEVER, she’s a fucking fraud and, while it is gross how her parents outed her, this is one of those situations where she needed to be exposed because she, essentially,

none of this makes any goddamn sense most of all why is marc lamont hill not my boyfriend?

the whole thing is just

this family motto is ‘literally what’

Here’s a pic of her at Howard, she’s top left.

I don’t think you’re a hypocrite. I think you have the necessary perspective to know that you can’t judge a film from 1961 with third millennium values. If something like that got made today I’d be out there protesting too but we’re talking about something that was made over half a century ago.

It’s OK to like problematic things.

I have to confess - as I’m a Korean-American. Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my all-time favorite films. I can totally understand though.
