Maybe Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon might warrant a revival, maybe even as period pieces with the tech and aesthetic of the comic strips?

The Superman costume will probably be explained in the context of the store. I mean, Ma Kent didn't sew that. :)
IIII'll Take The Case!
I meant as "immortal" fictional characters. Sorry for the confusion.
Sherlock Holmes, James Bond, Dr. Who, Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula. Immortals. I consider them (Bruce, Clark, etc.) kinda like that. They change with the times but they endure. My opinion, that's all. :)
Admittedly, The Return of Bruce Wayne was very...Grant Morrison. Which I liked, but yeah, convoluted. And his run brought us Dick and Damien, which was pretty epic. This is how I Feel: Bruce Wayne is Batman, Clark Kent is Superman, and Diana is Wonder Woman. Not a role, not a mantle, just people. :)
I had no problem in having Dick subbing for Bruce for a little while, but for Me it didn't Feel Right having them both be Batman. It's like "Daddy's home, son. Take off his jammies". Maybe now Dick will get elevated being himself, as Nightwing.
There were a few awesome Earth-2 stories, especially by Alan Brennert in The Brave and the Bold (including the one you mentioned). Batman of Earth-One fighting w/Earth-2 Robin against Hugo Strange who stole Starman's Cosmic Rod. Helena being Bruce's daughter was the only time her character made sense. Agreed on the…
As a DC guy I'm cautiously optimistic about the big reboot. Bruce as the only Batman running around sold it for me. Sinestro as Green Lantern will be annoying. Grant on Action Comics will be interesting. Barbara Gordon up and around in a universe where Cyborg exists kinda makes sense. JSA is back, but, I never liked…
I still collect anything Captain America and Criminal Ed Brubaker writes for Marvel. I've read Secret Warriors Jonathan Hickman wrote. I used to read Spider-man before it became a big mess (Clone Saga anyone?). I'm picking up "Fear Itself" just to know what's going on even if I don't like Matt Fraction. I'm just VERY…
Makes me sad I had to cancel Star Trek Online.
"Imagine being the dude that shows up to work in a Batman outfit because he's SUPPOSED to..." Imagine a life that is awesome-sauce coated fried gold.
I'm going to see the movie, then judge it myself. The internet has more blood lust than"Shark week" on the Discovery Channel.
I think there's a recording floating around of Uhura herself singing it.
One of the plot points in the comic was Sharon looking like her grandmother. *shakes his head*
I'm with you on that one, I could see him with the eyepatch and sixties swagger. The 616 Marvel Universe Nick Fury gets no love. Well, except for "Secret Warriors" by Jonathan Hickman.
Throw in ST: Generations and I'm all for it. :)
I'd watch that Pr0n Farr.
Greg Rucka used to work at my old LCS, and I rooted for him.
