I am a poli sci professor so, yes. I am also insufferable at parties, ha!

Interesting how the stigma fails to carry to college. I need to ask a sociologist to study this....
That's true. And it least it didn't say "public affairs" on it.
Dammit, you beat me too it!!
True, but this wasn't a first draft of an article. It was a diploma that went, presumably, through multiple levels of review. Someone should have caught the error. #fail
All y'all read my mind. I said this upthread—should have read this first.
My mom just found mine! I am going to hang it in my office, either next to my PhD diploma, or, more likely, in lieu of it.
Yes. No school I have attended, and none at which I taught, included the major. Since I went to state schools, none of my diplomas are in Latin, bummer.
Given LBJ's extramarital history, Pubic Affairs is likely a more apt name.
I see this on college campuses. There's a growing social stigmatization against smoking among college age kids. Lot different than when my 'rents went to college in the late 1950s, where ciggy companies would hand out free samples in the student union. Get 'em while they're young....
"Though kids these days are hitting the pot harder than ever. For the first time, more kids reported smoking marijuana than cigarettes."
I think we use DB the same way in this sense: on my two big desktop machines, at home and at work, everything is synced to the machine. But on my Mac Air, the HDD is just too small to sync everything (photos, archived project files, etc.). So I don't sync allmy files to all my devices.
Yes. And those files are stored locally and synced to the cloud. Finder is not finding stuff in the cloud that is not already synced to your computer. This is why it works....even when you're not on line!
But doesn't this app find the file you're looking for in the cloud? With my Air, I can't possibly keep all my files on the machine—I am tight on space. If this really does search on the cloud, I can get all my files, not just the ones I selectively sync (I do sync files to dropbox and GDrive on my big desktop boxes at…
How does Finder find my stuff in the cloud? It seems you may be commenting on the photo of this app, not on whole app.
If the question is about streaming music (not ways to listen to terrestrial radio on-line) I quite like Accuradio.com. It doesn't get a lot of attention or love, but its Modern Rock Classics channel, in particuclar, is quite good.
I agree. Although I thought they meant "radio" in this survey in a different way: a custom-format "radio" channel of streaming music. If you're talking internet radio "receiver" TuneIn Radio is amazing. It's the first thing I download on any iThing or Android device I have. It's fabulous for listening to BBC when I am…
That's a highly viable theory.
That's so true.
Nope. It's just the usual test applied to any law claimed to violate religious freedom (see upthread). And for most of the things we care about, showing a substantial state interest to regulate something (blowing up abortion clinics, raping young boys) isn't so hard.
