And so what if he doesn't? Some guys don't really want to sell their souls just to get laid. Of course, if you have no soul to sell, why, carry on.

Just to note that this came out wrong in that one could infer that I did the emotional/alcoholic manipulating to which Big Sis refers. I didn't. I was referring, sadly, to a night in the early 1980s when a girl friend (not girlfriend) and her friend came to visit me and my friend at down the road U. I really liked

Thanks for the advice. Thirty years after it would have done me the most good. I needed a big sister, not a little sister.

Just the way I liked it, except for the cold.

Thanks! Don't live there any more, but I do miss it. Sigh.

Well, there's that. But with as many laws schools as there are in the United States, you're going to get some real chowderheads, like the Regent "Law" "School" grads that infested the DOJ under the Bush regime.

"I don't get how a law blog, by and for lawyers, is so full of bold-faced ignorance." Aww, that's sweet of you to think that lawyers come from some sort of higher moral and intellectual stratum than most folks. They don't. Hofstra, for example, has a law school.

Wow, once again, the correlation coefficient between "The Crazy" and "Weed Legalizers" is about 1.0. OK, maybe 0.95.

Damn, so that's what does it! Is it possible that my ass-slapping my wife makes her ass even more fabulous? I hope so.

Well, and post partum. My wife has a bit of the leakies after having had two kids in her early 40s. I still think she's hawt. Yeah, her bod was different for a while after babies, but so was mine, so there.

Hitler's birthday is April 20, FWIW.

Yes. I love those.

Cool! True story: I was on a business trip, flipping channels on the hotel TV, looking for something to watch...and there they were! It was cool, 'cause I got to talk to my boys about it when I got home. "Hey! Where's Perry?"

And it sorts of fit the music she did—jazz, R&B. I'm seeing Motown girl groups here. So the look is sort of classic, in the way her music sort of was too. At least it isn't heroin chic or something totally awful.

I was in my late 20s and early 30s when this stuff ran on Nick at Nite, and my g'friend was way into it. Some happy memories there.

Woot! Thanks!

Yeah, I dug that. And I was in my 20s. Grad school does that to people.

My then g'friend and I would watch like the last half of Clarissa Explains it All because it was the last show right before the Nick at Night block (Dobie Gillis!! The Dick Van Dyke Show!!). I always kind of liked it; Clarissa/Melissa Joan Hart was kind of snarky and dry in her wit in sort of Selena Gomez way. (Yes, I

Exactly. Back in the early 1980s, we didn't have laptops. But I actually valued my laundromat time as study time while doing the laundry. It was mostly students, mostly quiet, except for the machines, and it was a nice break from campus. I sort of enjoyed the routine, frankly.

I think we do 600 loads a month. Damned kids and that mud.
