here in the Chicago market, Comcast's strategy on haggling is to reduce service to a lower tier cable package, or to reduce Internet speed to a lower package. I know several people who have left them for alternatives or altogether to cancel over them not willing to haggle. I was one of them, I'm at a competitor now.
