That's a great idea. Often, one may find effective and time-tested recipes and methods by looking to other cultures. Vegetarians sometimes waste effort and money by trying to make plant-based foods into meat-replacements (e.g. veggie burgers and the like), while entire cuisines exist for largely-vegetarian cultures.
