As opposed to nourishment?

I’ve got one of these, Works incredibly well. I had issues with tp link lightbulbs randomly disconnecting from the app but I’ve had no issue with this switch at all!

it doesn’t seem weird to you to blindly support a celebrity to run our country irregardless of their political stances?

Guess we just have different experiences, I’ve never heard it used in a racist way. I mean, it’s not even said that much. I think once in a while I see it in an old book and here it in conversation with old people. Not even sure where the racist connotation came from other than the word “coon” which clearly is

It doesn’t say the phrase is racist at all, it says “some consider it offensive” The word Coon IS used as a racist term (though i’m not sure thats even that used anymore) so it’s kind of dumb to use the phrase. Same reason I never say niggardly despite having nothing to do with race.

In our groups the tip always seems to be bigger in split checks (20% of a hundred dollar tab is 20 bucks, but no one will leave less than a $5 tip on a 20 dollar meal) again, in my small world.

How does covering your car with a table cloth prevent snow from falling around your car? This isn’t about cleaning your car off its about getting out of a spot.

Yeah, they updated it about 30 minutes after the post went live (may be stuck in peoples cache)

If you go to the article you are commenting on they did eventually update the picture. Op was arguing within a few minutes of the post being live that they should have had a better picture. I’d rather a timely post with relevant picture than a late post with the perfect picture.

I mean, that argument is kind of moot at this point since they did update the picture. It just took longer than people expected. I imagine they did the things you suggested but they didn’t want to wait to put an article up while waiting for the perfect picture.

Unless the pictures are open source there is no LEGAL way for Jalopnik to do this. You can’t just take pictures off the internet without the rights. It wouldn’t matter to a twitter user but to a blog with a lot of views, it is something they need to be careful of.

It’s a car blog not a major news network with connections. This is a quick update post to let people know to be careful in the area. It is not supposed to be a hard hitting report on terrorism in NYC.

Should they travel over to the location no one is allowed, to take pictures? Maybe hop on the train that is shut down?

No it doesn’t. Even saying so makes you “sometimes pro-rape” is that really a position you want to have?

Yes, loli is short for lolita, do you know what lolita is in reference too or did you just happen stop your train of thought right before it gets to the 12 year old girl part?

Now a days its pretty easy to source gummy bears using pectin instead of gelatin. She certainly has the resources to do so. I would imagine she knows you can’t throw haribos in there and hope for the best! (I hope!)

Would love to but you can’t do it in NY, the pumps don’t lock.

Except this is the truth. The figures include fuel charges, of which there were none for the tesla.

Happens here in NYC as well, must be cloudy up there on your confederate high horse.

It was obvious sarcasm. as in “these sweet old ladies” are not that sweet.
