I love this Chrome extension, "Google Reader Notifier", but I don't see something like this for Feedly. I really want a simple notification when new feeds are available.

Sounds like you need a host. I just moved from Aplus to Amazon Web Services (AWS), because I'm a control freak, and AWS just gives so much more for cheap. But like anything else, you need to consider your needs before choosing. Search lifehacker for their post about the best hosts out there.

I'm disappointed that those menu buttons were moved from the bottom to the top. My Nexus 4, and most Android phones, are HUGE! So, reaching to the top to tap a button isn't as accessible as on the bottom. Ah, well...whatever.

I'll give this a try, but for now, I'm in love with "Craigsnotifica", which I had to rummage the net til I found an apk (it's no longer on Google play). Best CL app ever.
