i just wish they would make the firefox button as customizable as the rest of the UI.

@Mike Cerm: firefox itself is stable. TabCandy/Panorama is still buggy though, Js performance is good, but could be better if the current rate of dropping is anything to go by, etc. I think it's better to wait. But then again, I'm using Minefield which is basically what would be released, so it doesnt really matter

Ermm...why all the complaining? It IS evil week after all! and I totally would do that if I was feeling evil when i needed the air.

money is only the root of most evil. It's usually money or if it's not money, it's power, and nowadays they're very similar.

@davepermen: that is the most annoying. If the software wont actually work if its not been restarted, then let the user find out for themself. If not, then you're a dumb ass for forcing me to.

VOTE: VcdControlTool

@jethro1138: I dont see what your problem is. Maybe it might make you happier to host it yourself, but the data is encrypted using a password that you create. They cant read it because even you wouldn't be able to see your data if you dont remember what you used.

@Mechafish: but at least you aren't paying for it to rip your pages!

@RandomMarius: Afaik, all the people that are completely un-computer intelligent that know that anything that's not IE exists only know about Chrome.

@sigurrosuntitled: generally i would type the new serach in then pick which things i want from the current page in new tabs, press enter, and it would go to the new search. It's faster for I.

It would also clutter up your history with a bunch of pages you wont have remembered visiting.

that must be really annoying. It annoys me in google sometimes when i start writing something else i want to search something after i open a tab of something on the current page and i start typing it so i dont forget. Then the original page is gone, and it makes me sad.

no syncing open tabs and history?

the addon will still be there, though without updates. So until it becomes incompatible, we could use our own servers, though im not quite sure how to go about doing that.

Let's combat some of your sayings, shall we? Restart extensions are coming. I wouldnt want per tab processes. With plugins as seperate, the only thing that would crash is firefox, which it is unlikely to by itself. That tab closing feature is in firefox 4.

@Mrkus: erm...can you do that with firefox through Firefox home or even xMarks on iphone?

@DangerousLiberal: To me, though, keeping users that they otherwise would have lost is only a stopgap to a long term goal. Honestly, I dont think there's much they can do for a permanent thing other than being consistently great for the next few releases towards making the name IE not scorned. While that may only be
