I kinda like it! I wouldn't go do it, myself, but everyone else is so down on it, while i think it looks kinda neat!

@DangerousLiberal: if what you say in the first paragraph is right, then what you say in the 2nd about people upgrading wont make a difference. They don't even know that there is an alternative. So microsoft wont be gaining anyone just not losing anyone. Most people that know about other browsers are using them, which…
@DangerousLiberal: It's not a matter of whether or not Win 7 is better. Though when i get a not shit computer, I will upgrade to Win 7 (i actually dual boot it, but ultimately use XP more because Win 7 hangs too often for my liking)
so because they can't figure out how to do hardware acceleration on XP, they'll just not do the entire thing on XP. nice logic.
another thing i don't think people realize is that their adding this has nothing to do with fixing memory leaks or whatever. You see, different groups of people work on different parts of the browser. That doesn't mean that were these people not working on this, they would go to fixing bugs. (especially if Aza is on…
does everyone actually like per tab processes? The fact that they're implementing this, i think, shows that enough people have a lot of tabs open at once. 20-30 processes to run one application is really what people want?
@bikmate: you must have really liked that command line apps LH article ehh?
:< I read hackaday so i always feel a bit disgruntled when stuff from there shows up here a day later. I guess i don't mind when you take articles from other places because i dont read other places.
[arewefastyet.com] shows the huge drop that happened when they combined JM and TM. It's almost breached Nitro in V8bench but for some reason on sunspider JM+TM is slower than JM alone, which isn't supposed to happen.
@bikmate: I wouldnt think this would have much effect on any overall speed. I would hope that if this had any effect on speed were you not using it, they would allow the option to disable it.
@Pickaxe: more the way he speaks not his voice, but a bit yea.
@MaliciousH: near dead? How so?
or they could make an old fashioned rotary dial unlock. So it goes in a circle and it would be harder see individual numbers since they would slide over eachother
@squarecat: it takes you 10 minutes to dl one addon? or one theme? Or even just downloading the beta? all of them do the space saving. Quick, and its a one time deal. The thing that's nice is that if you dont like the smallness for somereason...you can actually change it.
@Derfel: i was about to try and use "ride the wave", but then i saw your comment. I agree.
@Daniel Bentley: i suggest people just discuss the topic of the post rather than fanboying one of the browsers that the post is not about.
funny that jailbreaking and rooting are both 57%
@Benguin: I quite agree
@nasa geek: woops. yeah i forgot you don't install ubuntu and co with live cd's. In any case, on the site it mentions being able to make a persistent install for one of them at a time.
since they are iso's i assume they're not persistent installs. So having to install win7/ubuntu/fedora every time would suck balls.
