I am sorry to say this, but after the build up, these are the two most disappointing videos I have ever watched.

Fake.

You’re not very nice, quick to jump to conclusions, and rude. A true enthusiast would WANT to share their setup. If someone could be inspired by it and make an improvement upon it and produce more fantastic photos of outer space it would better the world of astronomical photography. A true enthusiast is interested in

because not everyone is a fucking cunt like you.

Education.

I also think Ledger’s Joker is such a amazing product of its time. You can argue the Joker is first and foremost, an agent of chaos but what makes that really scary is the raw idealism behind it. He’s willing to die on several occasions just so that he can carry forth a message and a worldview that is opposite

Heh, pretty lousy for a developer to complain that we’re cheating when they can’t even outline how the various systems in their own fucking game work to the player.

Egg hatching, distance traveled, the damn three footprints glitch effectively making finding any creatures a guessing game...

Yeah, think I’ll keep

I think the moment that you adopt an editing policy on these sort of leaks, you enter into some very dangerous waters (not that releasing confidential information isn’t already dangerous...).

Fun fact: eccentricities in earth’s orbit (see “Milankovitch cycles”) cause changes in insolation and worldwide climate conditions over evolutionary time scales. Increases in early-human brain size and intelligence correspond with times earth’s orbit stressed the population, naturally selecting more intelligent beings

Now playing

This is someone else but, this is still my favourite one:

But at what point does it stop being a machine powered by animal parts and becomes an artificial animal? Or going the other way, how much of your body can be replaced with prosthesis before you stop being... you?

Fun fact: the paths of two bodies in orbit around their common center of gravity can be described exactly with an analytical expression. Add one more body, and this is no longer possible; the Three Body Problem can’t be described analytically. You can do a piecewise incremental calculation to as much precision as you

Interesting situation. I wonder how confident they are about the estimate of its mass. At ~13 Jupiter masses a large gas giant starts to blur with a small brown dwarf. Due to the nature of the system and difficulty in planetary formation, I'm inclined to think this leans toward the small/cool brown dwarf category.

I think naming telescopes with size-descriptive names are like a running joke among astronomers:

Now image she’s white...

Science says you will enjoy the movie more because you know part of the outcome.

Dual 18v batteries from their cordless tools?

+1 for the ironic non-clickbait title. Well played!
