Welcome to America. Home of the rich, Land of the Corrupt. Where every man is guilty until proven innocent, unless they have the money to pay for innocent status.

Payphones have their number printed on the pay phone right above the numbers, although, it was literally printed on paper and placed behind a transparent piece of plastic, so it's illegible on older pay phones. There is a fair chance that Sabrina took down that number and have it in a directory of some kind at home.

He's joking. It's kind of a meme around here... Lots of stupid/funny stories posted here happen in Florida.

As stated under the "Write About Your Experiences" heading...

Never had MiniDiscs before, but I remember back in 2003, I found a Sony portable Mini CD player at best buy. Just like a Walkman, but made only for those CD's that are 1/3rd the size of a normal CD. That thing was awesome! Load up a disk with MP3's and I could go jogging with it.

It does require a CD or flash drive/etc... Not that big a deal if you have physical access. In any case, as was already stated, single user mode allows you to get around logins on every OS, and on Mac it can be stopped via firmware password, just like on PC it can be stopped via BIOS password.

While I would say that 2 decades is a stretch.... I see your point. True viruses are pretty rare these days. I actually was making no point of defending Mac's. I just get annoyed when people don't get malware. I haven't gotten malware on my Mac OR my Windows 7 computer, ever, so I don't see a real issue beyond user

Ophcrack. Crack Windows 7 login in under 3 minutes. AND it actually cracks the password, not just creates another account.

Twice in two weeks now. Same was said of Flashback. A Trojan is NOT a virus. They have completely different modus operandi. Mac's are known for being virus free, but Mac is known to get about 10 new Trojans per year, mostly related to porn sites. Compare that to the several thousand per year that MS gets.

I don't know what causes it, but it is apparently not too common. When I ask if others can hear the noise, they look at me like I am nuts.

LOL They take a much harder squeeze than a walnut or pecan, but still doable... Luckily for me I rarely find myself needing to crack them because I don't like them.

At first I thought the price made this crazy, but after reading your comment I suddenly wish I had $1000 to spare...

Wow... Is this not common knowledge? I have never owned a nutcracker. This is how I was taught as a child. I do come from poverty-stricken background though. Maybe that's it. Is this a "rich wouldn't know" thing?

Correction. It does make you ignorant, to that particular subject. Everyone is ignorant about a whole array of things. Ignorance is defined as a lack of education in a particular area. Nothing to be ashamed of. Just try to not be ignorant about as much as you can.

You are right. In my experience is because with an untied bag, you grab in two places and pull up, which causes parts of the bag to go inward and release that air pressure. When you tie the bag first, you tend to pull up by the knot, which is centered, causing equal pressure so the bag does not have a spot between it

LOL Well...That's true, but regardless of how it works, it does work. If my taste buds tell me it tastes better, then the real world result is more important that what caused it.

This is crazy. My last name starts with a C and I make rash decisions daily! It's fun. Spontaniety makes things interesting.

SO you turned Cuervo Gold into Cuervo Silver? :p lol

Now playing

Filtering makes rotgut better, but it does not turn rotgut into top shelf. Another thing I have noticed is that a lot of times temperature matters. There's a brand here called Congress. It's like $8 for a fifth. At room temp or even refrigerated, it's undrinkable, even mixed. However, drop it into a deep freeze long

My last Friday the 13th, I found an extra $2000 in my account from an accounting error, and I realized that the engine work I did on my car the day before increased my fuel economy from 370 miles per tank to 412...
