I have my system set up with the OS on the SSD, and my Home folder on a traditional drive. The OS would be hard pressed to push over 80GB, while a 1TB or bigger drive is used for the Home folder where all my work/BS is stored.

I see your point, but I can't complain even if there is some "loss of snappiness". Apps still launch pretty much immediately. Everything is as snappy as I can remember it ever being. Then again I did upgrade to a 7200RPM drive and 8GB of ram, but I did that within a month of owning it.
